If we set up our belief systems based on faulty thinking, sooner or later the unhappy evidence is going to pile up.  If we’ve been taught, for example, that struggle, suffering, and long hours are the keys to success, then that belief is going to keep us from achieving things in an easy and effortless way.  It doesn’t make the belief good or bad or right or wrong.  The grind – if we are paying attention to our emotions – is going to let us know intuitively that our thinking is off course.  Bottom line, the deepest part of us is always tapped into states of joy and feeling good (pure, positive love); nothing else.  Our inner being is not going to diverge from this “essence energy” just because a more fragile part of us thinks the rules should be set up another way.
